Mosaic Building Solutions Spends Summer on IPFW’s Campus

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Making the rounds amongst IPFW’s campus, Mosaic Building Solutions is breaking ground on two renovation projects this Spring that aim to update student facilities.

“IPFW is a beautiful campus,” President of Mosaic Building Solutions Jake Fetters said. “Partnering with this institution has allowed us to enhance every student's experience while they spend time at the school.”

Already at work in the Helmkey Library, the Mosaic team will be updating eight restrooms on four floors within the library. Spending $395,000, the 2,500-square-foot project will include a complete remodel of the restrooms that were last updated in the 1970’s. Both modernizing and reconfiguring to maximize space, the job will wrap in the Fall of 2016.

“Mindfully working to keep distractions to a minimum, the majority of the projects will take place throughout the Summer months to not disrupt students,” Fetters said.

Mosaic is also making upgrades to the Walb Student Union’s billiards area; a space adjacent to the student government office. Constructing a coffee bar and glass wall, only 1250-square-feet will be affected. This project sanctions the billiards-area fun by the ensuring pool balls cannot haphazardly escape from the space. The updates will be completed by the beginning of the 2016 school year.

Industry veterans launch new construction company: Mosaic Building Solutions

Jake Fetters and Steve Park form new firm to design, manage and build

JakeandSteve.jpg

Construction industry veterans Jake Fetters and Steve Park have formed a new breed of construction management company, Mosaic Building Solutions (Mosaic).

“We wanted to create a new solution that streamlines the process for our clients,” said Jake Fetters, President of Mosaic.  “In a more traditional process you end up dealing with a multitude of vendors, and often that means poor communication, delays and disagreements over budget and vision, which becomes the client’s burden.   We founded Mosaic to do things differently, to maximize their value and uphold their vision.”

Mosaic brings project management, pre-design and the building process all under one roof.

“From the beginning we want to work with clients, representing and sharing their vision of the final product— to create a plan that prioritizes wants and needs to develop the right solution,” said Steve Park, Vice President Design.  “We then act as ambassadors, overseeing the project from that point forward to ensure everything stays according to plan.”

Mosaic oversees their client’s projects from inception to completion, taking ownership of the project and the myriad of responsibilities that come with it.

“It’s difficult to assemble just a piece of a project when you do not understand the bigger picture,” said Fetters.  “We want to help with every step, every facet of the project, with an aim at producing results that uphold the client’s vision and budgets. Yes, it’s a new way of thinking; but we firmly believe that this is the future for our industry and is the means of providing the best possible value, and result, for our clients.”

Mosaic Building Solutions commences work immediately with several projects already underway.  They can be reached by phone at, 260.570.6595, by email at jfetters@mosaic-building.com, or at their offices at 1220 Ruston Pass, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.   Those interested in learning more about Mosaic and their capabilities can visit www.mosaic-building.com.

About:

Founded under the mantra Design. Manage. Build., Mosaic Building Solutions was established to better serve the client’s vision and the bigger picture of construction management.   Working with clients from day one, Mosaic creates innovative solutions that maximize the client’s value and then sees them through, taking ownership of the project until its completion.

Established by industry veterans Jake Fetters and Steve Park, Mosaic combines years of construction and design industry experience with a new vision for the building industry, all aimed at a better experience, value and result for its clients and partners.
