Mosaic Building Solutions Brings New Life to Huntington’s City Services Building

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (May 3, 2016) -- Breaking ground in Huntington this Spring, Mosaic Building Solutions is building a new 20,000-square-foot City Services building.

Due to the deteriorating condition of the existing facility, Mosaic began the project by levelling the old City Services building to start anew on the existing site. The new $1.9 million building will serve as an administrative space, as well as place to store and maintain city equipment and vehicles.

Bringing in a team of local construction experts, Mosaic is building a hybrid structure of pre-engineered metal building conventional steel framing / block and joist / and light gauge metal trusses together as one building designed by Barton Coe Vilamaa.

“Not only are we adamant on seeking regional projects, but we savor jobs that allow us to bring in a local crew of skilled workers,” Fetters said. “This not only keeps dollars in the region, but it also establishes a point of pride for those living and working in the area.”

The new project, that will wrap up in the Fall of 2016, is located at 634 Webster St. in Huntington, Ind.

Mosaic Building Solutions Hires New Team Member

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – In a move that continues to grow the Mosaic Building Solutions team, this month the 1.5-year-old company announced the appointment of Glen Smith as a new project manager.

With 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Smith’s responsibilities include keeping construction on time and under budget.  “My father was a carpenter his entire life, so I picked up the trade by watching him and helping as I grew up, which really gave me the love for this industry” Smith said. “I am excited to be a part of a company that is reinventing how we do business.”

In the past year and a half, Mosaic Building Solutions has forged a unique way to provide customers a total solution for their building needs: from conception to handing the keys over and beyond.

“I see this being the differentiator with Mosaic,” Smith affirmed. “I feel this is already having a positive impact on Fort Wayne and people are taking notice!”

Mosaic is also looking forward to the addition of passion and knowledge to their team.

“Watching our company grow so fast has been unexpected, yet thrilling to see so many people rally behind our business,” President of Mosaic Building Jake Fetters said. “Welcoming an outgoing and knowledgeable guy like Glen will help our company continue to provide Fort Wayne with a better way of building.”

Travis Auto to Open New Location in Spring

Travis Auto to Open New Location in Spring

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Breaking ground last month, Travis Auto, in partnership with Mosaic Building Solutions, plans to bring a new location to the northeast side of Fort Wayne in the Spring of 2016.

Constructing a 3,750 square foot space, this new location will be equipped with six bays, versus the two at their original location, to better serve the auto needs of surrounding residents.

“The public really supported the construction and rezoning of this new building in an effort to continue the growth of the neighborhood,” President of Mosaic Building Jake Fetter said. “So not only will this project aid in the growth of a local business, but it will also create new jobs while investing in the community.”

The $433,000 project will share a more comfortable environment for customers, while allowing Travis Auto to service more cars at a time, and cut wait time.

The new building is located at 7515 Maplecrest Road.
